English Language Arts Lesson Plans for Middle School by Grade

6th Grade Language Arts Lesson Plans:

Let’s Read English’s 6th-grade language arts curriculum is in two major parts. We have more than 200 language arts extensions and over 100 language arts lessons. This program will see your child write and analyze nonfiction texts easily.

7th Grade Language Arts Lesson Plans:

Let’s Read English’s 7th-grade lesson is also divided into two parts. One part is for up to 70 language art extensions, while the other part is made of more than 100 lessons. The coursework focuses on teaching students how to examine texts profoundly and analyze the relationship within texts and the relationship among several texts. Seventh graders should also master the basic grammar rules. Also, they should be able to write clear, well-structured, error-free, and concise essays.

8th Grade Language Arts Lesson Plans:

Our curriculum for 8th grade is also broken into two parts as the others. You will get over 130 lessons and over 80 extensions. At the end of the program, your child will be able to read, understand, and analyze complex passages. We also ensure that 8th graders understand the use of figurative language, a summary of texts, and how to write different types of essays.

Let’s Read English Curriculums for grades 6 – 8 meet and surpass all states’ standards and requirements. Here, Let’s Read English plans to allow students to study various essays to study how ideas are articulated in each of them. Then, they are presented with easy-to-follow instructions and writing assignments. The more students practice writing, the more they get better at it. The goal is to help them master the art of writing.

Students need to grow their vocabulary with new words every day. So, we present them with various lessons and real-world situations to get exposed to new words. To support this, we also encourage them to quickly consult Google, thesaurus, and dictionaries for strange words.

Parents have always asked for supporting educational resources for their middle school children, and we have listened. So, we have provided additional support for special learning needs and acceleration for gifted learners.

Parents who feel their child is weak in certain areas now provide multi-week courses for middle school students. The courses are handled by our certified and experienced teachers.
